I love baking! I would bake everyday if i could.
This blog came to be after we made the decision to bake our own desserts for our upcoming wedding/party in Sutton Coldfield, England this September 2010. Originally we were going to have cupcakes baked and delivered to the location, but it turns out 'North American' style cupcakes (I believe this refers to the buttercream swirl and larger size) are considered somewhat exotic and command quite a price tag (3 pounds per cupcake to be precise). So, with budget in mind we have decided to bake our own cupcakes :) In the process we will be testing recipes and collecting reviews from family, friends, neighbours and co-workers. I am also signed up for some formal baking/pastry arts training this spring, which I couldn't be more excited about!
